The short version: We collect only what's needed to run your baby's visit schedule. We don't sell your data, we don't share it with anyone who doesn't need it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time. Your family's story is yours. ๐ŸŒธ

1. Who we are

Peekaboo is a product of De Wet Holdings Pty Ltd as Trustee for Happy Trust (ABN available on request), operating under the brand Happy Trust at byhappytrust.com.

This Privacy Policy applies to the Peekaboo application at peekaboo.byhappytrust.com and governs the collection, use, and storage of personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure, which uses industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe and is never stored on our systems.

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access. No system is 100% secure, and we encourage you to use a strong, unique password if account authentication is required.

6. Data retention

We retain your family's data for as long as your Peekaboo account is active. If you ask us to delete your data, we will do so within a reasonable timeframe (typically within 30 days), unless we are required by law to retain certain records.

Peekaboo is designed for use by parents and caregivers of newborns. The service is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Baby details (name, date of birth) are provided by a parent or guardian as part of setting up the family's visit page.

9. Cookies and tracking

Peekaboo may use minimal browser storage (such as localStorage) to remember your session preferences locally on your device. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking technologies.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of Peekaboo after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
